Welcome to season one of the Fellowship Safaris podcast hosted by Dr. Njeri Karianjahi, an Adolescent Medicine Specialist based in Nairobi, Kenya. She conceptualised this podcast from her own fellowship safari from Nairobi, Kenya to Toronto, Canada to be a resource for all medical sub specialists, particularly people of colour looking to pursue further studies.
In this podcast we share knowledge, insights and information about the experience of subspecialisation. We connect medical doctors of colour with postgraduate learning interests and initiate a public conversation about life experiences of medical doctors during their medical education journeys. We also highlight inclusive approaches to medical practice.
