S2 Premiere Episode 1 – Dr. Thomas Ngwiri

In our first episode, Dr. Thomas Ngwiri shares his experience about the Kenyan subspecialty landscape and how this guided his choice of training in paediatric endocrinology. He also takes us through what it took to set up the paediatric endocrinology fellowship for national and regional impact.

Dr. Thomas Ngwiri is a paediatric endocrinologist and the chair of the Kenya Paediatric Fellowship Program(KPFP), under the umbrella of the Kenya Paediatric Association.( https://kenyapaediatric.org/kpfp-about/).

The following paediatric fellowships are available to Kenyan paediatricians in the public sector through KPFP- critical care, endocrinology, infectious disease, neonatology, nephrology, neurology.
